U.S. forces in Iraq continue losing their men to the violence that has devoured thousands of Iraqis, U.S. and NATO soldiers. Is it worth fighting?
Iraq is in trouble ever since war against violent forces erupted and facing the heat are the Iraqis be it men or women or children. The Shia-Sunni conflict has dragged down too much, with the Sunnis on a rampage massacring innocent Shia civilians. What is the U.S. doing in the country then? When it has not been able to ’smoke ‘em out’.

The U.S. troops lost 14 of its members in a Black helicopter crash. Reason for the crash, though unknown can be directed towards the violent forces not ready to give in. I simply cannot understand what help are the U.S. led NATO forces providing in Iraq. The forces left for Iraq to crush violence in the country, but I think it has only added to the trouble. With many of the terrorist forces aired by Al Qaeda showing no signs of laying down arms, the apathy of the hapless Iraqis facing war everyday is clearly known. No one in Iraq knows whether he will survive the very next moment or not because such is the condition of the country that every now and then we hear of a bomb explosion.
The children of Iraq are the most affected, few have been orphaned, maimed, while others are in trauma of what is happening around them. Common Iraqi is ruing the day the violence began. Misery of the people can be easily ventilated by the violent forces. It is time for giving Iraq a second thought. Time is running out and Iraqis are dying everyday. World leaders listen to the cries of the bereaved children and families of Iraq and think of a possible solution that can bring peace in the country and not war.
War can never be a solution!
