Iran is under possible threat to be attacked by the US in 2008. The US President George Bush may take this decision before the end of his tenure if the diplomatic dialogues and pressure would fail to stop Iran for enriching uranium in country.
The CNN IBN has reported through a senior British government source that US may take this extreme step next year. According to the Times report, Bush would prefer to seek for settling the Iranian issue through military means in 2008.
Bush may take this decision before the end of his Presidential term. It said further that Bush would not be ready to leave the issue unresolved for his successor in White House.
On the other hand, another report has revealed that the information supplied by CIA and FBI to IAEA inspectors on the Iranian nuclear question would not be true.

The Guardian newspaper has reported that the IAEA analysts have confirmed that much of the intelligence inputs, which was provided by US spy agencies to UN inspectors on Iran’s nuclear facilities, were groundless and incorrect.
The IAEA analysts said that the US agencies gave us a list of sites. After some follow-up we found that was no sign of banned nuclear activities.
After the speculations of possible attack plan commencing by US on Iran may be proved as another disaster like Iraq. Earlier Bush and Blair had claimed that they had irrefutable evidence that Saddam Hussein was deploying weapons of mass destruction in Iraq those are dangerous for humanity.
Later, all the evidences were proved as false. Now, Bush is choosing the same path to bring Iran down and if it happened, the same result would wait for President Bush.
