According to the German Defense Ministry, two Israeli F-16 jets targeted German warships in Lebanon. Although German officials are not clear about the firing, the investigation is going on. The German vessel was at the coastal regions of Lebanon. Germany has sent his navy as peace keeping forces after the orders of U.N Security Council to maintain peace in the region. Only 35 days ago cease fire was declared after the pressure of U.N.
On the other hand Israeli forces have denied the issue. Defense spokesman of Germany also said that the pilots may not be able to visualize the vessel and accidentally opened fire.
Germany had sent his navel force instead of army so that conflict may not rise between Israel and Germany. There is a scope of conflict because historically Germany is considered to be anti Jews and Israel harbors maximum Jews population. Therefore Germany is quiet careful about the matter so that the situation may not rise as similar to World War II.
