Iraq has been lost for the US military and more importantly for the Iraqi population. It has also been lost in Washington’s corridors of power.
Troops are being sent to a grinder, according to Chuck Hagel, one of the few brave Republican senators who has the decency and morality to publicly oppose Bush’s stupidity.
