Tehran still seems unwavering on the question of halting uranium enrichment program. However, Tehran is refraining to mention the recent draft proposal while reiterating its right to pursue nuclear technology. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister has said that Tehran would give its decision only after examining the proposal given by the major powers.



Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad asserted that western powers are trying to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear technology not due to the fact that their concern over nuclear weapon but it would open the door for all the other independent countries, specially Muslim countries.



On the other hand, U.S. has warned that Tehran is not having much time to respond the offered international package of incentives with a view to halt its nuclear program. Further, U.S. has said that it will resort to stricter action if Tehran does not respond in the due course.



However, the Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has indicated that a breakthrough can be achieved and welcomed ‘unconditional talks with all parties’ including U.S.
