Iran has refused to stop its proposal of uranium enrichment, apparently realizing that UN sanctions are not so important then enriching nuke fuels. Although, Iran has cleared that it is not going to use nuke power for war, the U.S and European Union is of the view that after fulfilling the requirements of civil welfare Iran will surly step further to produce nuke weapons.
Iran, for its part, announced on Tuesday that it had constructed a second cascade of centrifuges for laboratory-scale enrichment, clearly unperturbed by the sanctions threat. According to the reports, Iran is still not capable to use nuke energy for mass destruction and war, but in future they suspect that Iran may use nuke energy for war purposes. Iran is also planning to withdraw from NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) similar to N.Korea.
Nuke expert Dr. ElBaradie cleared that the sanctions will increase the tensions in between Iran and opposing countries. Although the Asian powers like Russia and China had not cleared there views and had maintained silence regarding Iran’s nuke tests. Iran is also seeking help of Russia in enriching uranium.
It is already clear that if nuke energy is used for the welfare of common man, it is good, but in case of weaponry it may destroy world as a whole. Therefore, the U.N. should play an important role, by appealing the whole world to destroy nuke in form of weapons. No good can be done by implementing the sanctions on nuke weapon producing countries, but U.N should try to check the production of nuke weapons. It only depends on the UN to stop this blind race of nuke weapons and destroy which already exists.
