
The UN may have planning to impose new sanction on Iran over their critical nuclear program, Iran has no plans to give up its uranium enrichment and will pursue nuclear activities outside international regulations.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, said
Until today, what we have done has been in accordance with international regulations. But if they take illegal actions, we too can take illegal actions and will do so.
Permanent members of the Security Council, the US, Russia, China, Britain and France, together with Germany have set down new sanctions to penalize Iran for discarding U.N. demands to close down uranium enrichment and persist with their nuclear program.
The new sanctions would possibly ban Iranian arms exports and freeze the assets of 28 additional individuals and organizations involved in the country’s nuclear and missile program, together with voluntary restrictions on travel, on arms sales to Iran, and on new financial assistance or loans to the Iranian government.
Khamenei addressing the nation on the occasion of the first day of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, warned the United States not to mess up with Iran and leave the idea of attaching his country, as every strike will be dealt forcefully.
If they want to treat us with threats and enforcement of coercion and violence, undoubtedly they must know that the Iranian nation and authorities will use all their capacities to strike enemies that attack.
In another gathering, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also charged the western nations or powers with the psychological warfare against Iran. Ahmadinejad said,
By psychological warfare, propaganda and misuse of the organizations they have themselves created ... they are trying to prevent our nation’s development.
Meanwhile, Russia had threatened Iran to stop shipping fuel for the Russian-built Bushehr nuclear power plant in southern Iran until Tehran pledges to stop its uranium enrichment.
