Turning the tide and ending the long Palestinian factional violence, Hamas and Fatah surprised people all over the world when they agreed to form the coalition government. It came as a pleasant surprise not only for the people of Palestine who were the main sufferers of the violent clashes between the two rival political groups, but global community as it will bring some sort of stability in the Middle-east and Palestine that was burning from internal as well as external clashes.

Palestine is suffering from a number of sanctions imposed by the US, the UN, the European Union, the Arab states and other different Bodies of the world after Hamas, considered a terrorist or radical group by the West and Israel, won the 2006 Palestinian elections.

Hamas and Fatah have been talking for quite long, including the Mecca talks, but the negotiations broke down repeatedly when Hamas over and over again refused to yield to international demands to recognize Israel.

The new unity government is on the cards as Prime Minister Haniyeh of Hamas group has already submitted his resignation to President Abbas. The fresh accord between the two would be a fresh glimmer for the youth of Palestine that have become an epitome of a lost generation over the period of factional clashes between Hamas and Fatah.

The rival group may have agreed to form the unity government in Palestine, the Palestinians are still worried whether the Western nations will accept their government as Hamas, which has been considered a radical group by the West and Israel ,is forming a unity government with Fatah.

However, agreement between Hamas and Fatah is a welcoming move that certainly would bring stability in the region and help eradicating international sanctions, upon which Palestinians depend.
