
British Prime Minister Tony Blair made a surprise visit in Baghdad and has a plan to meet some of the political leaders of Iraq.
Blair was on a visit of Middle East to make ground to establish peace between Israel and Palestine.
In between, he made a visit to Baghdad. He was fluffed up into the high security Green Zone from the airport on a military helicopter.
He had landed to Baghdad by Royal Air Force transport plane from Cairo.
Blair would meet President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in this visit.
The Iraqi leaders will brief him about the progress in handing over security control of the Basra from British to Iraqi forces.
Blair, earlier, has been shown his concern to trained Iraqi forces to tackle security situation in the country as soon as possible.
On the other hand, the United States have made a plan to build up naval force in the Gulf region in next month. According to the plan, a second US aircraft carrier would join already present carrier in the area.
However, Military officials said that the naval build up would not aim to attack any country.
The report says that this step taken by US in view of increasing proactive acts by Iran, its support to Shiite militias in Iraq and uranium enrichment program running by Iran. On the other hand, the Pentagon administration has denied making any comment on this report.
