The Israeli security forces have killed as many as three times more Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip this year. An Israeli human rights organization says in its report that 660 Palestinians had been killed in this year alone.
Among those killed, 141 were minors. The report says also that as many as 322 of Palestinians killed in the year were not even fighters.
On the other hand, the number of Israelis killed in the clashes has recorded a downfall during the year. Palestinians have reportedly killed as many as 17 civilians and six security officers.
Israel has killed 405 Palestinians, including 88 minors in Gaza alone. Among those killed, 205 were said as non-combatants. The report, B’Tselem, said that these killings showed that at what extent, the human rights are being violated.
More than 292 homes has been demolished. About 42 homes have been demolished in the East Jerusalem by Israeli forces.
According to the Sarit Michaeli of B’Tselem, the figures of death toll were based on the organisation’s own fieldwork. Michaeli said that the Israeli government has developed a tendency to call every Palestinian killed as a terrorist.
